Jason McMillan is a seasoned emergency management professional with extensive experience in Emergency Operations Center operations, preparedness, and incident management.
Jason holds multiple distinguished certifications, including Florida Professional Emergency Manager (FPEM), Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), and Florida Master Instructor (FMI). He is also a certified Incident Command System (ICS) Instructor, demonstrating his expertise in training and developing personnel in standardized emergency response frameworks.
Further strengthening his professional foundation, Jason has completed both the National Emergency Management Basic Academy and the Advanced Academy, reflecting a deep commitment to professional development and mastery of emergency management principles, leadership, and whole-community planning.
Throughout his career, Jason has played a key role in designing and executing complex emergency exercises, enhancing interagency coordination, and advancing preparedness strategies across high-risk, high-visibility operational environments. His leadership and technical expertise have contributed to strengthening organizational resilience, improving response capabilities, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local emergency management standards.
